This is my machine portrait. Fans are used mostly in this portrait. I wanted to create the fan machine. I used grid map to change the image into the suitable shape on my face. In my opinion, hairs was not realistic much, cables are used seperatly with each other. Viewers cannot see the link between them. Finally, I think my portrait is very coloful. What do you think?

I actually REALLY LIKE the hair. I don't think there is any necessity for it to look realistic. I mean, this is a man or woman/machine - so there's no point trying to make something that is fantastical real anyway. I like the way you've curved everything. Did you like using the mesh tool? I find it a little hard to control. Did you?
